Offer Your Brides Something Unique & Everlasting…

The major and most frequent inquiries for leather roses  are requests from brides and wedding planners, again not using leather roses as a full bouquet but incorporating them into their floral arrangements throughout the ceremony, and using a single short-stemmed leather rose in a vase with a ribbon tied around the vase as a centerpiece on each table at the reception.  We must not forget the single ladies in attendance at the wedding, as the bride incorporates a single leather rose in the bouquet she throws (again, the bouquet is not all leather roses).

Families are also requesting leather roses for memorials and home-going services, and are most frequently used on the spray of flowers which lies on the casket or the floral arrangement from the family, and are offered as keepsakes at the grave site. In these instances, you or any of your love-ones and guests never end-up with an everlasting unattractive, gaudy arrangement, which does not seem to fit anywhere in your home, since they have all been distributed individually as single roses to the guests.  In this instance, I would suggest and recommend the family spray to have more than a few leather roses incorporated into the arrangement.

Why Not Add Leather Roses to Your Floral Arrangements?

According to a locally-owned, family-run and well-known florist in Indianapolis, Indiana who has been in business for more than 40 years, which has expanded nationally and OUS, states that "artificial arrangements are a thing of the past," and that "live" arrangements are the most popular.

The rose is the flower of choice when it comes to sentimental occasions and keepsakes, so why not LEATHER ROSES?   Although I am not a floral designer, I enjoy assembling home interiors and clothing ensembles with various colors and textures, which has inspired me to try my home-decorating and clothing techniques with 'leather and live rose' floral arrangements.

Based on my hypothesis and testing during my research in finding practicality, but yet the EVERLASTING benefit of incorporating leather roses into a live floral arrangement, as well as into mainstream, contrasting textures, appearance and customized colors of leather roses can be liberating and as unique as you prefer, more so than live roses.  When you consider leather created into a rose, you have a keepsake that will literally last forever

Leather roses also show best when used as an accent to a natural, live bouquet of roses(with a few leather roses incorporated into a live arrangement, then preserved as a keepsake of the occasion after the natural ones have expired).  I would not recommend a bouquet of roses made of all leather; however, I have had one request (see photo).

The TRUTH About Leather

All leather is NOT created equal.  Imperfections in leather are what make it unique. However, imperfections can be due to the age of the animal, bug bites, injuries, dyeing, scratches, stretching, or as a result of the leather-drying process, which are not necessarily inclusive.
